​Biography:​  I worked as a home health aide for a few community-dwelling elders in the Boston area the summer before my senior year which sparked my interest in geriatric care. From these experiences, I became more aware of the impacts that transitions of care can have on health outcomes, and grew interested in the specialized needs of older patients. In this lab, I currently work on the prospective cohort study, where I track communication between physicians and nursing homes during microtransitions. I’m looking forward to utilizing what I’ve learned in this lab in my future career in healthcare.
