Biography: I am part of the prospective cohort study where I review medical charts to track patterns in communication between physicians while a resident is on a microtransition. I also help track any adverse events that occur following the resident’s return. I plan to pursue a doctorate in occupational therapy (OTD) after I graduate, with a focus on physical rehabilitation for individuals recovering from brain injuries or stroke. My participation in this lab is valuable to me because it highlights how strong clinical systems and communication are essential for supporting recovery and safe transitions of care.
Fun Fact: I was a cheerleader in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
